Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed the Secondary School Examination (Class 10th) from a recognized Board with passing marks in Mathematics and English.
Candidates must also have studied the local language of the concerned Postal Circle up to Class 10th.

The GDS posts are paid through Time Related Continuity Allowance (TRCA).

Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of a system-generated merit list.
The merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the Class 10th Secondary School Examination. The marks are calculated to four decimal places.
There is no separate written examination mentioned for selection.
After shortlisting, candidates will have to appear for physical verification of original documents. Final engagement will be subject to successful document verification and completion of the required formalities.
