Educational Qualification
Level 5/4:
Candidates should have a Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
Level 3/2:
Candidates should have passed 12th (+2 stage) or equivalent examination from a recognized Board.
OR
Candidates should have passed Matriculation from a recognized Board plus completed Act Apprenticeship.
OR
Candidates should have passed Matriculation from a recognized Board plus ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT.
Level 1:
Candidates should have passed 10th from a recognized Board.
OR
ITI or equivalent qualification.
OR
National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.
Candidates appointed to Clerk-cum-Typist posts will have to qualify a typing proficiency test of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi within four years of appointment.

Sports Qualification
This recruitment is specifically for eligible sportspersons.
Only sportspersons who have acquired the required sports achievement eligibility norms in championships/events held from 01 April 2024 up to the date of notification and who are active will be eligible.
For Level 5/4, the required sports achievement includes representing India in the Senior Category at the Olympic Games or securing at least 3rd position in specified international competitions such as World Cup, World Championships, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, Youth Olympics, Champions Trophy in Hockey or Thomas/Uber Cup in Badminton.
For Level 3/2, the prescribed sports achievements include participation in specified World Cup, World Championships, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games and other recognized international competitions, or specified positions in Commonwealth/Asian Championships, National Championships, National Games, All India Inter-University Championships and Federation Cup.
For Level 1, candidates must meet the prescribed sports achievement norms, including participation in specified Commonwealth/Asian Championships, South Asian Federation Games, USIC World Railways Championship, World University Games, Federation Cup or prescribed National Championship achievements.
Only recognized sports championships conducted under recognized International/National/State Sports Federations and recognized by the Railway Sports Promotion Board will be considered.
Selection Process
The selection will be conducted through Sports Trials and assessment of sports achievements, game skill, physical fitness, coach’s observation and educational qualification.
The total marks are:
Sports Achievement: 50 Marks
Game Skill, Physical Fitness & Coach’s Observation: 40 Marks
Educational Qualification: 10 Marks
Minimum Overall Qualifying Marks:
Level 5/4: 70 Marks
Level 3/2: 65 Marks
Level 1: 60 Marks
Application Fee
For all candidates other than the specified exempted categories:
Application Fee: Rs. 500
Out of this, Rs. 400 will be refunded to eligible candidates who actually appear in the trial, after deduction of bank charges.
For SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/PwBD/Women/Minorities/Economically Backward Class candidates:
Application Fee: Rs. 250
The full Rs. 250 will be refunded to eligible candidates who actually appear in the trial, after deduction of bank charges.
