Candidates can apply for Office Assistant and also apply for one post in the Officers cadre. Candidates can apply for only one among Officer Scale-I, Scale-II or Scale-III. Separate applications and fees are required for separate posts.

Officer Scale-I:
Above 18 Years and Below 30 Years
Officer Scale-II:
Above 21 Years and Below 32 Years

OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years

Additional age relaxations are available for eligible Ex-Servicemen and certain other categories as per the notification.
Educational Qualification
Office Assistant (Multipurpose)
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent.
Candidates must also have proficiency in the local language of the State/UT for which they are applying.
Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager)
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent.
Candidates should also possess proficiency in the local language of the State/UT as prescribed by the participating RRB.
Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer)
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with the required minimum marks and relevant banking/financial experience as prescribed in the notification.
Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers
Candidates must possess the prescribed professional qualification for the respective specialist post along with the required experience.
Specialist posts include areas such as IT, Law, Agriculture, Marketing, Chartered Accountant and Treasury.
Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager)
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with the prescribed minimum marks and relevant experience in the banking/financial sector as specified in the notification.
Candidates must carefully check the post-wise educational qualification and experience before applying.
Selection Process
Office Assistant (Multipurpose)
The selection process will consist of:
1. Preliminary Examination
2. Main Examination
For Office Assistants, only marks obtained in the Online Main Examination will be considered for final merit listing.
Officer Scale-I
The selection process will consist of:
1. Preliminary Examination
2. Main Examination
3. Common Interview
Candidates qualifying in the Preliminary Examination will appear for the Main Examination. Shortlisted candidates from the Main Examination will be called for the Common Interview.
Officer Scale-II and Scale-III
The selection process will consist of:
1. Single Online Examination
2. Common Interview
Candidates shortlisted in the Single Online Examination will be called for the Common Interview.
Interview
The interview is applicable only to Officer Scale-I, Scale-II and Scale-III posts.
The interview will carry 100 marks.
Minimum qualifying marks in the interview will not be less than:
General/EWS: 40%
SC/ST/OBC/PwBD: 35%
The relative weightage of Online Examination and Interview for the Officers cadre will be 80:20.
Online Examination
For Office Assistant and Officer Scale-I, the examination will be conducted in two stages:
Preliminary Examination
Main Examination
For Officer Scale-II and Scale-III, a Single Online Examination will be conducted.
The examination will be conducted online at various centres across India.

Local Language Requirement
Candidates applying for Office Assistant and Officer Scale-I posts must have proficiency in the local language prescribed by the concerned participating RRB.

Final Selection

For Officer Scale-I, the final selection will consider the Main Examination and Interview.
