The vacancies are distributed across 22 sports disciplines, including Athletics, Aquatics, Archery, Badminton, Basketball, Boxing, Football, Gymnastics, Handball, Hockey, Judo, Kabaddi, Karate, Shooting, Taekwondo, Volleyball, Water Sports, Weightlifting, Wushu, Wrestling and Yoga.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
Head Constable (GD):
• 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board/University.
• Equivalent Army qualification is also accepted for eligible Ex-Army personnel.
Constable (GD):
• Matriculation (10th) or equivalent from a recognized Board.
SPORTS ELIGIBILITY
The recruitment is exclusively for meritorious sportspersons. Candidates must have achieved the prescribed sports performance in recognized competitions.
Eligible achievements include:
• Represented India in recognized International Competitions/Meets.
• Represented State/UT in recognized National Games/Championships and secured medal/position up to 3rd place.
• Secured 1st/2nd position in individual events in Inter-University Tournaments.
• Won Gold/Silver in Junior National level Games/Championships.
• For Constable (GD), prescribed achievements also include recognized National/Junior National, School Games, Khelo India University/Youth/Winter Games and Inter-University competitions.
Important: Sports achievement/certificate must generally relate to the prescribed period of the last two years. Candidates must possess the required educational and sports certificates by the last date of application.
AGE LIMIT
• Head Constable (GD): 18–23 years
• Constable (GD): 18–23 years
• Age is calculated as on 01 August 2026.
• DOB should be between 02 August 2003 and 01 August 2008, subject to applicable relaxation.
AGE RELAXATION
• Unreserved: 5 years
• OBC (NCL): 8 years
• SC/ST: 10 years
• Ex-Servicemen: Additional relaxation as prescribed after deduction of military service.
• Other applicable departmental relaxations are as per CRPF rules.
SALARY
• Head Constable (GD): Pay Level-4 – ₹25,500–₹81,100
• Constable (GD): Pay Level-3 – ₹21,700–₹69,100
• DA, HRA and other admissible allowances will be provided as per Government/CRPF rules.
PHYSICAL STANDARDS
• Male Height: 170 cm
• Female Height: 157 cm
• Male Chest: 80 cm unexpanded with minimum 5 cm expansion
• Relaxation in height/chest is available for specified categories as per CRPF rules.
