UPSC APFC Eligibility Criteria:
– Essential Qualification: recognised university or equivalent.
– Desirable Qualification: A diploma in Company Law, Labour Laws, or Public Administration.
Age Limit: 21 to 40 Years
Age Relaxation:
UR / EWS : 35 years
OBC: 38 years
SC / ST: 40 years
PwBD: Age relaxable up to 10 years, subject to a maximum age limit of 56 years

Selection Process:
1. Recruitment Test (RT): Objective type (multiple choice), 2 hours duration, conducted in English and Hindi, carrying 300 marks. Wrong answers attract a penalty of one-third of the marks assigned to that question.
2. Interview: Carries 100 marks
3. Weightage (RT : Interview): 75 : 25
Syllabus:
The syllabus of the Test broadly comprises the following topics:-
i. General English- To evaluate a candidate’s understanding of English language & workman- like use of words.
ii. Indian Culture, Heritage and Freedom Movements.
iii. Developmental Issues and Present Trends in Indian Economy.
iv. Governance and Constitution of India.
v. General Science and Basic Knowledge of Computer Applications.
vi. Elementary Mathematics, Statistics and General Mental Ability.
vii. Industrial Relations, Labour Codes and Social Security in India.
viii. Principles of Accountancy, Auditing and Insurance.
ix. Current Events of National and International Importance
