Note: – The number of vacancies to be filled on the results of the examination is expected to be approximately 581 including 34 vacancies for the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) (23 vacancies for Locomotor Disability including Cerebral Palsy, Leprosy cured, Dwarfism, Acid Attack victims and Muscular Dystrophy & 11 vacancies for Hard of Hearing).
UPSC ESE Exam Eligibility Criteria:-
Eligibility:- Passed/Appearing Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/ Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering from a recognized University/Institution.
Physical standards: – Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to Engineering Services Examination 2019 as per guidelines given in Appendix‐II of the Rules for the Engineering Services Examination, 2019.
Age limit: – A candidate for this examination must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years as on 01 January 2019.
Age relaxation: – The upper age limit relaxable up to 03 years for OBC, 05 years for SC, ST and 10 years for PWD categories candidates as per government rules.

Application fee: – Candidates pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs 200 by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India. SC, ST, PWD and female candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

Selection process: – Candidates will be selected on the basis of written Examination, interview or personality test and medical exam. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the written exam will be intimated to appear for personal interview.
