Note: – The number of vacancies to be filled on the results of the examination is expected to be approximately 440 including 17 PH vacancies.
UPSC ESE Exam Eligibility Criteria:-
Physical standards: – Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to Engineering Services Examination 2017 as per guidelines given in Appendix‐II of the Rules for the Engineering Services Examination, 2017.
Age limit: – A candidate for this examination must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years as on 1 January 2017.
Age relaxation: – The upper age limit relaxable up to 03 years for OBC, 05 years for SC, ST and 10 years for PWD categories candidates as per government rules.
Pay scale: – Information not available.
Application fee: – Candidates pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs 200 by depositing the money in any branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI or State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur or State Bank of Hyderabad or State Bank of Mysore or State Bank of Travancore or by using visa or master credit or debit card.
SC, ST, PWD and women candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
UPSC ESE Exam Vacancy:-
Selection process: – Candidates will be selected on the basis of written Examination, interview or personality test and medical exam. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the written exam will be intimated to appear for personal interview.
- Stage-I Preliminary Examination – 500 marks.
- Stage-II Mains Examination – 600 marks.
- Stage-III Personality Test – 200 marks.
