SSC MTS Exam 2017 Eligibility Criteria:-
Eligibility: – Candidates should have passed 10th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized board or institute. This is one of the biggest recruitment notification issued by SSC for 10th pass applicants. Every year approximately more than 20 lakhs applicants are filling the application form for SSC MTS Vacancy.
Age limit: – Minimum age is 18 years and maximum age is 25 years as on 01 August 2017.
Age relaxation: – The upper age limit relaxable up to 03 years for OBC, 05 years for SC, ST and 10 years for PWD categories candidates as per government rules.
Pay scale: – Applicants will get pay of Rs 5200-20200 plus grade pay 1800 per month.
Application fee: – Candidates have to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs 100 for general and obc category candidates. SC, ST, PWD and women categories candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
Mode of payment: – Through online mode using net banking or credit card or debit card or cash by through SBI bank challan.
SSC MTS Vacancy 2017 Selection Process:-
Selection process: – Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination followed by skill test. Written exam will comprise objective type questions paper. Questions paper contain questions from General Intelligence and reasoning, numerical Ability, English, and general awareness.
- Written examination paper 1 will carry total 150 marks for 150 questions.
- Negative marking will be applicable for each incorrect answer of SSC MTS posts.
- 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
- Questions paper medium will be Hindi and English language.
SSC MTS Exam Pattern & Syllabus:-
(A) General Intelligence: Non-verbal reasoning, similarities and differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series etc. abstract ideas and symbols and their relationship, arithmetical computation and other analytical functions.
(B) English Language: Vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and its correct usage.
(C) Numerical Aptitude: Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, use of Tables and Graphs, Menstruation, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.
(D) General Awareness: General awareness, test knowledge of current events, Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic scene, General Polity including Indian Constitution, and Scientific Research etc.
