RPF Recruitment: – South Central Railway, Secunderabad has issued a notification for the recruitment of 2030 Women Constables Posts in Railway Protection Force or Railway Protection Special Force on permanent basis.

Qualification: – 10th Pass.

Vacancy details:-

Total post: – 2030 posts.

Name of the post: – Women Constables.

1) RPF (Railway Protection Force) – 1827 posts.

2) RPSF (Railway Protection Special Force) – 203 posts.

 


Qualification: – 10th classes passed or equivalent from recognized board.

Pay scale: – Rs 5200-20200 plus grade pay 2000 per month.

Age limit: – Between 18 to 25 years as on 01 July 2016.

Age relaxation: – The upper age limit relaxable up to 03 years for OBC candidates and 05 years for SC, ST candidates.

Physical standard test:-

Height – Minimum 157 centimeter for General, OBC candidates and 152 centimeter for SC, ST candidates.

For Garhwalis, Gorkhas, Marathas, Dogras, Kumaonese and other candidates 155 centimeter.

Physical efficiency test:-

Race – 800 meters in 03 min 40 second.

Long Jump – 12 feet in two chances.

High Jump – 03 feet in two chances.


Training: – The candidates will have to undergo an initial training in any one of the RPF or RPSF training centre or any other such institution as decided by the Railway Administration in the event of their selection.

Application fee: – Candidates are not paying any fee for this post.

Selection process: – Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination, physical standard test, physical efficiency test, document verification and medical examination.

Written examination: – Written examination will be conducted for those candidates who are found eligible after scrutiny. The written examination will be on OMR based Answer Sheets which will comprise of 120 multiple choice objective type questions of one mark each.

The test will be of 90 minutes duration. The question paper shall be of matriculation standard. The question paper will consist of 50 questions on General Awareness, 35 questions on Arithmetic and 35 questions on General Intelligence and Reasoning.

Last date: – Last date of receipt of off line application shall be 01 March 2016.

However, for candidates living in north east state, Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul & Spiti District and Pangi Sub Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Lakshadweep and Andaman & Nicobar Islands, the last date of receipt of application shall be 07 March 2016.
