RailTel Recruitment Eligibility Criteria:-
Eligibility: – Candidates should have passed B. Tech or B.Sc. (Engineering) in Electronics & Telecom or Computer Science or Information Technology or Electrical Engineering from recognized university or institute.
OR M.Sc. (Electronics) degree from recognized university or institute.
And having qualified GATE-2016 in EC paper.
Pay scale: – 16400-40500 per month and Annual increment shall be equal to 3% of basic pay subject to GOI instructions from time to time.
Probation: – Two years from the date of joining RailTel. The period of probation shall be regulated as per extant rules/ instructions issued from time to time.
Age limit: – The candidates must be at least of 21 years as on 01 July 2016.
Age relaxation: – The upper age limit relaxable up to 03 years for O.B.C., 05 years for SC, ST and 10 years for P.W.D. categories candidates as per government rules.
Application fee: – Candidates pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs 1000 by through demand draft drawn in favour of Rail Tel Corporation of India Limited payable at New Delhi.
SC, ST and P.W.D. categories candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
RailTel Selection Process:-
Selection process: – Candidates will be selected on the basis of GATE-2016 score followed by interview of the shortlisted candidates. The interview shall be of 100 marks.
Venue of interview: – The interviews may be conducted at Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi/ Gurgaon and Hyderabad/ Secunderabad.
