PTCUL Recruitment Eligibility Criteria:-
1) Electrical & Mechanical (E&M):-
Eligibility: – Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, Power Engineering, Power System Engineering or those Engineering Branches which have the word Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical (BE/ B. Tech) with 60% marks from a recognized university or institute.
Eligibility: – Degree in Civil Engineering (BE/ B. Tech) with 60% marks from a recognized university or institute.
3) Information Technology (IT):-
Eligibility: – Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Information Technology (BE/ B. Tech) with 60% marks from a recognized university or institute.
Age limit: – The candidates should not be less than 18 years and should not be more than 42 years of age on 01 July 2016.
Age relaxation: – The upper age limit is relaxable for reserved categories candidates as per government rules.
Pay scale: – Applicants will get pay scale of Rs 15600-39100 plus grade pay 5400 per month.
Contract period: – The appointment is purely on contract basis for a period of five years.
Application fee: – Applicants have to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs 1500 for general and OBC candidates. SC, ST categories candidates pay fee only Rs 750. PWD category candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
Mode of payment: – Through bank draft drawn in favour of Secretary, Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education payable at Dehradun.
PTCUL Vacancy Selection Process:-
Selection process: – Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test and their performance in interview.
- Written test will be 176 marks and interview will be 24 marks.
- The written test will be of 3 hours duration.
- Question paper will be of objective type and will be in Hindi and English both.
Written examination: – The paper will have two sections. Each question will have 1 mark. Marks for each correct answer a question in the evaluation and for each wrong answer negative marks will be given for 0.25.
Section-1: 50 questions related to Analytical Ability, Quantitative Aptitude and General Knowledge.
Section-2: 126 Questions will be based on the relevant engineering branch.
Exam centre: – The written examination will be held at Dehradun and Udham Singh Nagar cities.
