Age limit: – Maximum 35 years.

Eligibility: – Candidates should have passed B. Tech degree in Electrical engineering with 60% marks from recognized university or Institute.

Age limit: – Candidates should be maximum 35 years as on 04 July 2016.
Age relaxation: – The upper age limit relaxable up to 05 years for reserved categories candidates and 10 years for P.W.D. categories candidates as per government rules.

Pay scale: – Fixed remuneration for 1st and 2nd year would be Rs 19,750 and Rs 21,750 respectively per month.
The selected Vidyut Sahayak (Junior Engineer) shall be appointed initially for the period of three years and may be considered for appointment to the post of Junior Engineer on regular establishment, in the pay scale of Rs 17300-38610 per month.

Application fee: – Candidates pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs 500 at any of the SBI Branch using System Generated SBI challan OR online mode using debit card/ credit card/ internet banking.
SC, ST categories candidates are pay application fee of Rs 250 only.

Selection process: – Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test (multiple choice questions) and personal interview.

Exam syllabus: – The syllabus of the competitive exam will be as under. There will be 4 sections in multiple choice question paper having approximate equal weight age for each section:-
Section-I General Knowledge.
Section-II English Language.
Section-III Electrical Engineering.
Section-IV Computer Knowledge.

Note: – The question paper will be in English Language only.
