Age limit: – Candidates age limit should be maximum 28 years as on 20 January 2017.
Age relaxation: – The upper age limit is relexable up to 03 years for OBC, 05 for SC, ST and 10 years for PWD categories candidates as per government rules.
Pay scale: – Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs 24900-50500 at the basic pay of Rs 24900 during one year training.
Placement: – The selected candidates shall undergo one-year training at various places. The final place of posting will be decided after completion of training, based on performance during the training and requirement.
Application fee: – Applicants have to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs 150 for general and OBC candidates. SC, ST, PWD and Ex-serviceman categories candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

Selection process: – NTPC will be utilizing Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering – 2017 score (GATE-2017 Score) for recruitment of Engineering Executive Trainee in the disciplines of Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Civil during the year 2017.
Based on the GATE-2017 score and requirement, candidates will be short-listed for Group Discussion and/ or Personal Interview for the position of Engineering Executive Trainee in the above disciplines.
