IRDAI Recruitment Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) has issued a notification for the recruitment of 24 Junior Officer Posts on permanent basis.

Exam date: – 27 February 2016.

1) Actuarial – 04 posts.

1) Actuarial:-

Qualification: – Bachelors degree in any stream with 60% marks from recognized university or institute.

Pass in Nine papers of Institute of Actuaries.

2) Accounting:-

Qualification: – Bachelors degree in any stream with 60% marks from recognized university or institute.

Must have pass ACA/AICWA/ACS exam.


3) Legal:-

Qualification: – Bachelors degree in any stream with 60% marks from recognized university or institute.

LLB degree with 60% marks from recognized university or institute.

4) General:-

Qualification: – Bachelors degree in any stream with 60% marks from recognized university or institute.


Age limit:- Between 21 to 35 years as on 01 January 2016 (relax able up to 03 years for O.B.C. candidates, 05 years for SC, ST candidates and 10 years for P.W.D. candidates).

Pay scale: – Rs 17100–1000(11)–28100–1000(4)–32100-1100(1)-33200 per month.

Application fee: – Candidates pay non refundable application fee of Rs 500 by online mode.

SC, ST, P.W.D. and Ex-servicemen candidates are pay application fee of Rs 100 only.


Selection process: – Candidates will be selected on the basis of-

Phase I – Online preliminary examination (Objective type).
Phase II – Online descriptive examination.
Phase III – Interview.

The Online preliminary Examination (Phase I) will be for 160 marks with four Tests as under:

1) Test of Reasoning (40 questions) – 40 marks.
2) Test of English Language (40 questions) – 40 marks.
3) Test of General Awareness (40 questions) – 40 marks.
4) Test of Quantitative Aptitude (40 questions) – 40 marks.
