Sports Disciplines:-  Outstanding sportsmen who have participated at International or Junior or Senior National Championship or Senior State Championship or All India Inter University Championship in Athletics, Aquatics, Basket-ball, Boxing, Cricket, Football, Gymnastics, Handball, Hockey, Kabaddi, Volleyball, Weightlifting, Wrestling, Squash, Best Physique and Equestrian (Horse Polo).

Indian Navy Sports Quota Recruitment Eligibility Criteria:-

For Direct Entry Petty Officer:-
Eligibility:-
12th in any stream with sports position 6th at National/ Senior level or 3rd position in National (juniors) or 3rd position in the Inter University meets.
Age limit: – 17 to 22 years (born between 01 February 1995 to 31 January 2000).

For Senior Secondary Recruitment (SSR):–
Eligibility: –
10+2 in any stream and should have participated at International/National/State level or represented a University in the Inter University tournament.
Age limit: – 17 to 21 years (born between 01 February 1995 to 31 January 2000).

For Matric Recruits (MR) for Cooks or Stewards: –
Eligibility: –
10th or its equivalent and should have participated at International or National or State level tournament.
Age limit: – 17 to 21 years (born between 01 April 1996 to 31 March 1999).

For Matric Recruits (MR) for Cooks or Stewards: –
Eligibility: –
6th Standard pass should have participated at International or National or State level tournament.
Age limit: –
17 to 21 years (born between 01 April 1996 to 31 March 1999).

Pay scale: – During the initial training period of Rs 5700 per month. On completion of training, they will be placed in the pay scale of Rs 5200-20200 plus grade pay 2000 per month.

Physical standards test:-

  • Height – Minimum height for male candidates 157 centimeters. Weight and chest should be proportionate. Minimum chest expansion of 5 centimeter.
  • Tattoo – Permanent body tattoos on any part of the body are permitted to candidates belonging to tribal communities/ from tribal areas as declared by the Government of India.

Training: – The initial training for the course will be conducted at INS Chilka followed by Professional training in the allotted trade in various naval training establishments.

Indian Navy Sports Quota Recruitment Selection Process: –

Selection process: – Candidates will be selected on the basis of previous records and performance of sports. After qualifying the trials they will be called for Medical Test at INS Hamla, Mumbai.

  • Age limit – 17 to 22 years (born between 01 August 1994 to 31 July 1999).

For Senior Secondary Recruitment (SSR):–

  • Eligibility 10+2 in any stream and should have International/ National/ State level Participated certificate or 5th position in NCC/ SCC Nationals.
  • Age limit – 17 to 21 years (Born Between 01 August 1995 to 31 July 1999).

For Matric Recruits (MR) for Cooks or Stewards: –

  • Eligibility 10th or its Equivalent with 5th position in national/ state level tournament.
  • Age limit – 17 to 21 years (Born Between 01 October 1995 to 30 September 1999).

For Non Matric Recruits (NMR) for Sanitary Hygienist: –
