Indian Navy NAIC Recruitment Eligibility Criteria: –
Eligibility: – Candidates should have BE or B. Tech degree mechanical or electrical or electronics or production or instrumentation or IT or chemical metallurgy and aerospace engineering with 60% marks from a recognized university or institute.
Age limit: – Candidates should be 191/2 to 25 years, born between 02 July 1992 and 01 January 1998; both dates inclusive.
- Height & Weight: – Male – 157 centimeters with correlated weight as per age and height.
- Eye sight – Distant Vision 6/60, 6/60 correctable to 6/6, 6/12 should not be colour blind or night blind.
Pay scale: – The CTC for a sub Lieutenant would be approximately Rs 87,600 to 90,000. This includes basic pay, DA, grade pay, military service pay, flying allowance, house rent allowance and transport allowance.
Probation period: – The Officers will be on probation for a period of two years or till completion of their initial training (whichever is later), during which they are liable to be discharged if their performance is unsatisfactory on professional or medical or disciplinary grounds.
Training: – The training is tentatively scheduled to commence in the month of Jun 2017 at Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala. Only unmarried candidates are eligible to undergo training.
Indian Navy NAIC Vacancy Selection process: –
Selection process: – Candidates will be selected on the basis of Service Selection Board (SSB) interviews and their performance in educational qualification. The total duration of SSB interviews is five days consisting of stage-I (Day one) and stage-II (Four days).
Stage-I Tests – Consist of Intelligence Tests, Picture Perception and Group Discussion Tests. Candidates who fail to qualify in Stage-I will be sent back on the same day from SSB Centre.
Stage-II Tests – Consists of Psychological Tests, Group Task Tests and Interview. Successful candidates will undergo medicals examination (approx 3-5 days).
Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their selection for SSB interview on their e-mail or through SMS.
Interview date: – SSB interviews for short-listed candidates will be scheduled from December 2016 to March 2017.
Exam centre: – SSB interviews will be held at Bangalore, Bhopal, Coimbatore and Visakhapatnam cities.
