Indian Coast Guard Recruitment Eligibility Criteria:-
For General Duty and General Duty (Pilot):-
Eligibility: – Candidates should have passed bachelor degree with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university or institute. Mathematics and Physics as subjects up to intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent.
For Technical branch (Mechanical and Electrical):-
Eligibility: – Candidates should have degree in mechanical and electrical engineering with 60% marks from a recognized university or institute
- Engineering Branch: – Naval architecture or mechanical or marine or automotive or mechatronics or industrialand production or metallurgy or design or aeronautical or aerospace.
- Electrical Branch: – Electrical or electronics or telecommunication or instrumentation or instrumentation and control or electronics and communication or power engineering or power electronics.
For Law: –
Eligibility: – Candidates should have law degree with 60% marks from a recognized university or institute. (Three years degree in Law after graduation OR five years after 10+2 examination).
For Pilots (CPL):-
Eligibility: – Candidates should have passed 12th class with 60% marks from a recognized board.
And should possess current / valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) issued/ validated by DGCA on the date of submission of application.
- For General Duty & Technical branch – 01 Jul 1987 to 30 Jun 1996 (both dates inclusive).
- For General Duty (Pilot) & Pilots (CPL) – 01 Jul 1987 to 30 Jun 1998 (both dates inclusive).
Age relaxation: – The upper age limit is relaxable of SC, ST, OBC categories candidates as per government rules.
