IBPS SO CWE Pattern: –

The most basic but least bothered point about CWE SPL-VI Exam Pattern is qualification & merit. Applicants are often unaware of the same. A candidate must obtain marks above the cut-off decided by the IBPS. Further the cut-off is decided for each section and for the exam overall. The candidates need to understand that merely qualifying this exam would render them eligible for the interview. Moreover, extra effort should be made at attempting the questions in this stage.

There is only one written examination stage in the IBPS Specialist Officer Exam Pattern. The marks scored in this stage will be counted for deciding rank in merit list. Aspirants should attempt questions uniformly in all sections.
The number of safe attempts varies from one category to other.
In all attempting about seventy questions in Professional Knowledge exam can be considered safe for most of the streams. However for IT Officer you may need to score even more. Keep reminding yourself that more the marks you score in this stage more are you chances to rank higher in the merit list.

The above tests except the Test of English Language will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.

All the sections in the CWE SPL-VI Exam Pattern except Professional Knowledge are only qualifying. Marks obtained in these will not be added for merit listing for interview. So you should aim to score high in Professional Exam test and qualify in the rest at the same time.

In CWE SPL-VI exam, time should be managed accordingly in the exam as well as while preparing. It is so because there would a combined time of sectional time for each sub-test.

IBPS SO Interview Pattern

The second stage of IBPS exam for recruitment of SOs is the interview. A list of candidates is made who have qualified in all sections of the online exam and scored above the Professional Knowledge Test cutoff. Participating Banks will conduct the interview. Nodal Banks will coordinate with the help of IBPS. A limited number of centers will conduct the interview. The centre, address of the venue, time & date of Interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter.

The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). The weight-age (ratio) of Online CWE (exam) and interview will be 80:20. The combined final scores of candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of total scores obtained by the candidates in CWE (SPL-VI) and Interview.
A candidate should qualify both in the CWE and interview and be sufficiently high in the merit to be shortlisted for subsequent allotment process, details of which will be available subsequently on IBPS website.

Candidates have to pay examination fee plus intimation charges as follows.

2) Rs 600 for all others.
