IBPS Clerk Eligibility: –

The most basic but least bothered point about IBPS Clerk Eligibility Criteria is Nationality or Citizenship. For IBPS Clerk Eligibility the applicant must be of an Indian identity. A candidate must be either a Citizen of India or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan or a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Moreover it may be a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. However in that case they must have a certificate from the Government of India.
IBPS Clerk Age Limit: –
The next fundamental point is IBPS Clerk Age Limit. The applicant must have attained the age of 20 years but should not be more than 28 years old. The date of consideration of the date of birth is 01 July of the year in which exam is conducted. For IBPS Clerical exam 2016 it is 01 July 2016. So your date of birth should be in between 02 July 1988 and 01 July 1996.
However there is a range of relaxation applicable to a few categories as below.

IBPS Clerk Educational Qualification: –
The candidate must possess a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institute. The candidate must possess valid mark sheet or degree certificate indicating the date of passing and percentage of marks. The educational qualification should have been attained before 12 September 2016.
The percentage should be indicated two places after decimal. In case of CGPA the candidate must have the corresponding percentage too. Moreover no work experience is required for IBPS Clerk Eligibility.
Computer Literacy: – Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory for IBPS Clerk Eligibility. Candidates should have certificate or diploma degree in computer operations or language. Applicants who studied computer subject(s) at high school or university are termed equivalent.
Proficiency in the Official Language of the state or UT for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable.
Application Fee: –
Candidates have to pay examination fee plus intimation charges as follows.
1) Rs 100 for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates.
2) Rs 600 for all others.
