1) Research Associate (Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Botany) – 01 post.
2) Junior Research Fellow (Chemistry) – 02 posts.

Defence Laboratory Recruitment Eligibility Criteria: –

1) Research Associate (Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Botany):-
Eligibility: – Candidates should have passed M. Sc and Ph.D. Degree in Microbiology or Biotechnology or Botany with specialization in Microbiology or Pathology or Biotechnology from a recognized university or institute.
Age limit: – Maximum 35 years as on 30 November 2016.

2) Junior Research Fellow (Chemistry):-
Eligibility: –
Candidates should have passed Post graduate degree in Chemistry with first division from a recognized university or institute.
And candidates should have qualified National Eligibility Test (NET).
Age limit: – Maximum 28 years as on 30 November 2016.

3) Junior Research Fellow (Physics/ Material Science):-
Eligibility: – Candidates should have passed Post graduate degree in Physics with first division from a recognized university or institute.
And candidates should have qualified National Eligibility Test (NET).
Age limit: – Maximum 28 years as on 01 December 2016.

4) Junior Research Fellow (Economics):-
Eligibility: –
Candidates should have passed BE/ B. Tech degree in Electronics with first division from a recognized university or institute.
And candidates should have qualified National Eligibility Test (NET).
Or ME/ M. Tech degree in Electronics with first division from a recognized university.
Age limit: – Maximum 28 years as on 02 December 2016.

Age relaxation: – The upper age limit shall be relaxable to the candidates belonging SC, ST and OBC categories candidates as per government rules.

Pay scale: –
For Research Associate Posts – Rs 40,000 per month.
For Junior Research Fellow Posts – Rs 25,000 per month.

Selection process: – Candidates will be selected on the basis of Walk in interview.
Interview venue: – Defence Laboratory, Ratanada Place, Jodhpur- 342 011 (Rajasthan).

The initial charter allotted to the laboratory was: “Undertaking field trials on weapons and equipment which were either newly designed or developed in the country or were being manufactured indigenously with imported know-how, besides conducting basic research as applicable in the arid zone, physiological studies, Radio-wave propagation studies and solar energy.”
