1) Pharmacist (Allopathic) – 97 posts.
2) Pharmacist (Homeopathic) – 09 posts.
3) Pharmacist (Ayurvedic) – 10 posts.
4) Pharmacist (Unani) – 05 posts.
5) ECG Technician (Junior) – 04 posts.
Eligibility Criteria for CGHS Recruitment:-
For Pharmacist (Allopathic):- (i) 12th Class pass with Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
(ii) Diploma in Pharmacy from recognized institution and registered as Pharmacist.
(iii) Two years’ experience as Pharmacist in any recognized Hospital or Pharmacy after duly registered as Pharmacist OR
(i) Bachelor degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharma) from a recognized University and ii) Registered as a Pharmacist.
For Pharmacist (Homeopathic):- (i) 12th class pass with Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
(ii) Diploma or Certificate Course in Homeopathic Pharmacy of at least one year duration from a recognized institution.
For Pharmacist (Ayurvedic):- (i) 12th class pass with Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
(ii) Degree in Ayurvedic Pharmacy or Diploma in Ayurvedic Pharmacy course, duration of which should not be less than two years from any Government Organization or recognized private institute or by any University and registered with respective State Government Ayurvedic Regulatory Boards or Councils.
(iii) Two years’ experience in the field of Ayurvedic Pharmacist from any recognized Ayurvedic Dispensary or Hospital or Pharmacy or Wellness Centre.
For Pharmacist (Unani):- (i) 12th class pass with Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) from a recognized board or university.
(ii) Diploma in Unani Pharmacy from recognized University or Institute.
(iii) Two years’ experience as Unani Pharmacist in recognized Unani Hospital or Pharmacy.
OR (i) Degree in Unani pharmacy from a recognized University or Institute.
For ECG Technician (Junior):- (i) 12th Class pass with Science Subjects or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
(ii) Diploma in E.C.G. technician course from a recognized institute.
(iii) One years’ experience in handling of E.C.G. Machine in any recognized Hospital.
Salary: – Rs.5200 – 20,200 plus grade pay Rs.2800 per month.

The scheme was initially started in Delhi in 1954. Subsequently CGHS Services were extended to the following 17 cities: Allahabad, Ahmadabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jabalpur, Lucknow, Chennai, West Bengal, Nagpur, Patna, Pune, Kanpur, Thiruvananthapuram and Guwahati. The Central Govt. Health Scheme is applicable to the following categories of people residing in CGHS covered cities.
