AIIMS NORCET 11 Recruitment Eligibility Criteria:
AIIMS Nursing Officer Educational Qualification:
Candidates must meet either of the following two eligibility routes:
– Route I: B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council recognized institute or university, OR Post-Certificate/Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institute/university; AND registration as a Nurse and Midwife with the State or Indian Nursing Council.
– Route II: Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from a recognized institute/board/council; registration as a Nurse and Midwife with the State or Indian Nursing Council; and two years of experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital acquired after obtaining the essential qualification (i.e., after completing residency, declaration of result, and council registration).
Age Limit: 18 to 30 years
Age Relaxation:
(i) Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe : 05 Years
(ii) Other Backward Classes (Non-creamy layer) : 03 Years.
(iii) PWD : 10 Years (maximum age not to exceed 56 years).
(iv) PWBD + OBC: 13 years (maximum age not to exceed 56 years).
(v) PWBD + SC/ST: 115 years (maximum age not to exceed 56 years).
(vi) Ex-Servicemen / Commissioned Officers: Length of military service plus 3 years.
(vii) Central Government Civilian Employees (General), 3+ years regular service: 5 years.
(viii) Central Government Civilian Employees (OBC), 3+ years regular service: 8 years (5+3).
(ix) Central Government Civilian Employees (SC/ST), 3+ years regular service: 10 years (5+5).

Exam Pattern :
– Stage I: NORCET Preliminary:
A 90-minute qualifying exam with 100 MCQs (100 marks) – 20 questions on General Knowledge & Aptitude and 80 on Nursing subjects. There is negative marking of 1/3 mark per wrong answer. This stage only qualifies candidates for Stage II and is not used for final merit.
– Stage II: NORCET Mains:
A 180-minute exam with 160 case-scenario-based MCQs (160 marks) covering the nursing syllabus, testing clinical skill competency. Negative marking of 1/3 mark per wrong answer applies. Final merit is based solely on Stage II performance.
