Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification: Passed Madhyamik examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or an equivalent examination.
Computer Knowledge: Elementary knowledge of computer operation.
Typing Speed: 20 words per minute in English or 10 words per minute in Bengali.
Language Requirement: Ability to read, write and speak Bengali, except for candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali.

Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 45 years
Age Calculation Date: 01 January 2024
Age Relaxation:
SC/ST candidates of West Bengal: 5 years
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates of West Bengal: 3 years
PwBD candidates: Upper age limit up to 45 years
Ex-Servicemen: Relaxation as per the notification.
Candidates from reserved categories of other states will be treated as General candidates.

Exam Pattern:
The examination will be conducted in three stages.
Part-I: Objective Type
Part-II: Conventional Written Examination
Computer Operation and Typing Test: For candidates who qualify in Part-I and Part-II.
Negative Marking: 0.25 mark for each wrong answer in MCQ questions.
Final Merit: Based on the combined marks of Part-I and Part-II, subject to qualifying the computer operation and typing test.
Syllabus:
Part-I: English, General Studies and Arithmetic.
Part-II: English and Bengali/Hindi/Urdu/Nepali/Santali, as applicable.
