Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2026: Indian Coast Guard, Ministry of Defence has released the recruitment notification for Coast Guard Enrolled Persons Test (CGEPT) – Batches 01/2027 & 02/2027. Recruitment is being conducted for Navik (General Duty), Navik (Domestic Branch), Yantrik and Hygienist-I posts. Eligible Male and Female Indian citizens can apply online from 06 October 2026 to 21 October 2026.

Eligibility Criteria:

Navik (General Duty):
Candidates must have passed Class 12th with Mathematics and Physics from an education board recognized by COBSE.

Navik (Domestic Branch):
Candidates must have passed Class 10th from an education board recognized by COBSE.

Hygienist-I:
Candidates must have passed Matriculation OR ITI OR equivalent qualification from a Board of Education recognized by the Central/State Government.

Yantrik:
Candidates must have passed Class 10th and hold a 3 or 4-year Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering approved by AICTE.

OR

Candidates must have passed Class 10th & Class 12th and hold a 2 or 3-year Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline approved by AICTE.

Age Limit:

Navik (GD): Born between 01 November 2005 and 01 May 2009.

Yantrik: Born between 01 May 2005 and 01 May 2009.

Navik (DB): Born between 01 November 2005 and 01 October 2009.

Hygienist-I: Born between 01 November 2002 and 01 October 2009.

Age Relaxation:

SC/ST – 05 Years

Salary:

Yantrik: Basic Pay ₹29,200/- (Pay Level-5) + Yantrik Pay ₹6,200/- + DA and other applicable allowances.

Navik (General Duty): Basic Pay ₹21,700/- (Pay Level-3) + DA and other applicable allowances.

Navik (Domestic Branch): Basic Pay ₹21,700/- (Pay Level-3) + DA and other applicable allowances.

Hygienist-I: Basic Pay ₹21,700/- (Pay Level-3) + DA and other applicable allowances.

The Stage-I examination will be based on the detailed syllabus prescribed by the Indian Coast Guard for the respective posts. The examination will consist of objective-type questions and will be conducted in Hindi and English.
