Educational Qualification
For Classes 1–5: 12th/Intermediate with the prescribed elementary education/teacher-training qualification and applicable TET qualification.
For Classes 6–8: Graduation in the relevant subject with the prescribed B.Ed./teacher-training qualification and applicable TET qualification.
Age Limit & Relaxation
Minimum Age: 21 Years. Maximum Age: 35 Years for Unreserved/EWS candidates. Age relaxation is available for reserved categories, women, PwD, ex-servicemen and other eligible candidates as per the notification.

General Knowledge & Current Affairs: Jharkhand, India, History, Geography, Constitution, Economy, Current Affairs, Science, Sports and important events.
General Science: Basic Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
General Mathematics: Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry and Mensuration.
Mental Ability: Analogy, Classification, Problem Solving, Analysis, Number Series and Coding-Decoding.
Computer: Basic Computer Knowledge, MS Windows, MS Office and Internet.
Subject-wise syllabus: As prescribed for the concerned teaching subject.
