EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
• B.Sc. (Agriculture) under a four-year degree programme.
• M.Sc. (Agriculture) with at least Second Class from a college/university recognized by the State/Central Government or ICAR.
• Desirable: M.Sc. (Agriculture) with First Class or above.
• Knowledge of the customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh, and suitability for appointment under the state’s conditions, is desirable.
AGE LIMIT
• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 45 Years
• Age calculated as on 01 January 2026.
• Five years’ upper-age relaxation is available to eligible bonafide SC/ST/OBC/WFF/PwD candidates of Himachal Pradesh, subject to the notification.
• Relaxation for eligible Himachal Pradesh Government employees and Ex-Servicemen will be as per Government rules.

• ₹600 for all candidates, irrespective of category or gender.

SELECTION PROCESS

• Hindi Language: 20 Marks
• English Language: 20 Marks

Paper-II: Descriptive Subject Aptitude Test

• Total Marks: 120
• Syllabus: As decided by the Commission.
Personality Test
