EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
• Junior Engineer: Generally, a 3-year Diploma or relevant Bachelor’s degree in the prescribed Engineering discipline such as Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics/Telecommunication, etc., depending on the post.
• Depot Material Superintendent: 3-year Diploma in Engineering in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution. B.E./B.Tech is also acceptable in lieu of the prescribed Diploma. :contentReference[oaicite:3]{index=3}

AGE LIMIT
• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 33 Years
• Age will be calculated as on 01 January 2027.
• Age relaxation is applicable as per Government rules: SC/ST 5 years, OBC-NCL 3 years, PwBD 10/13/15 years and applicable relaxation for Ex-Servicemen and other eligible categories.
EXAM PATTERN
CBT-I – Screening Test
• Mathematics: 30 Questions/30 Marks
• General Intelligence & Reasoning: 25/25
• General Awareness: 15/15
• General Science: 30/30
• Total: 100 Questions/100 Marks
• Duration: 90 Minutes
• Negative Marking: 1/3 mark for each wrong answer.
CBT-II
• General Awareness: 15 Marks
• Physics & Chemistry: 15 Marks
• Basics of Computers & Applications: 10 Marks
• Basics of Environment & Pollution Control: 10 Marks
• Technical Abilities: 100 Marks
• Total: 150 Questions/150 Marks
• Duration: 120 Minutes
• Negative Marking: 1/3 mark for each wrong answer.
SELECTION PROCESS
CBT-I → CBT-II → Document Verification → Medical Examination → Empanelment/Appointment. Shortlisting is based on normalized CBT performance, followed by DV and medical fitness.
