– In the world’s largest election, more than one million polling stations were set up across the country.
– Over 1.5 million people, 400,000 vehicles, around 1,700 flights, and 135 trains were utilized across the country for this process.

The Election Commission submitted the list of newly elected Lok Sabha members to the President.
– Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Rajiv Kumar, along with two election commissioners Gyani Kumar and Sukhbir Singh Sandhu, presented the details of the newly elected Lok Sabha members to President Droupadi Murmu on June 6.
– This meeting is part of the process of forming the next or 18th Lok Sabha.
– Why did the Election Commission submit the list to the President? – Under Section 73 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, it is mandatory to publish the results of the general elections to the Lok Sabha and state legislative assemblies and the names of the nominated persons. How did Five Eyes come into existence?
– After the Second World War in 1946, an alliance was formally established through an agreement for cooperation in signal intelligence.

– In 1948-49, Canada joined, and in 1956, Australia and New Zealand were included, forming a coalition of five countries.
– Although the intelligence alliance came together in the 1940s, it remained a top-secret for a long time.
